Pick a destination, choose how curvy it should be and ride. Maps, routing and your rides stay on your iPhone.

How it works

From destination to ride review.

01 — Destination

Start where you are

Search the installed map region for towns, villages, passes and peaks, open a saved route or let Serpavo build a round trip from your position. The search runs offline in the downloaded map package.

02 — Route

Choose how curvy

Three profiles — Relaxed, Curvy and Very curvy — steer the route engine on your iPhone towards winding country roads and away from motorways. Check the route with its curve score before you set off, or save it for later.

03 — Curve score

See why a route scores

The curve score from 0 to 100 is explained, not hidden: curves per kilometre, tight bends under 50 m radius, elevation gain and long straights all count.

04 — Ride

Made for the handlebar

A large turn instruction, your speed and the live lean angle. Voice prompts come at real junctions only and can lower other audio while they speak. The screen stays on and the map turns dark while you ride.

05 — Review

Relive the ride

Every navigated ride is recorded on your iPhone. The review shows the track, the maximum lean angle and the curve score. Export it as GPX, share it or ride it again.

Offline maps

Download a region once — Northern, Central or Southern Germany, the Black Forest, Austria, Switzerland, the Alps or the Dolomites — and map, search and routing work without reception. Downloads use Wi-Fi only unless you change it.

Offline maps screen with regions

Ready in a minute

A short introduction, the safety notice, the location permission and a mount check that shows how level your iPhone sits in its holder.

Welcome screen

Just ride

No destination in mind? Choose 30 minutes to three hours and Serpavo plans a curvy loop back to where you started.

Automatic night mode

The app turns dark after sunset. Sunrise and sunset are calculated on your iPhone for your position.

Eyes on the road

A clear safety notice before the first ride, large controls and voice prompts that tell you what comes next, so the screen can stay a glance away.

Privacy

Your rides stay on your iPhone.

  • No account, no tracking. No analytics, no advertising and no sign-in.
  • Location and motion on the device. Your position and lean angle are processed on your iPhone and not sent anywhere.
  • Routing offline. Routes are calculated on your iPhone from the downloaded map package.
  • Network only for maps. The app goes online only to download and update map packages.
  • Export when you choose. A ride leaves the app only when you export or share it as GPX.

FAQ

Good to know

Does Serpavo work without mobile reception?

Yes, once a map region is downloaded. Map, place search, routing, navigation and ride recording all run on your iPhone. A connection is only needed to download or update map packages.

Which regions are available?

Northern, Central and Southern Germany, the Black Forest, Austria and Switzerland, plus the Alps in five parts and the Dolomites. Each region is downloaded on its own and can be deleted again.

How is the curve score calculated?

From curves per kilometre, tight bends under 50 m radius, elevation gain and long straight sections. The app shows how each part contributes, on a scale from 0 to 100.

How does the lean angle work?

The motion sensors of your iPhone estimate the lean angle while it sits upright in a handlebar mount. The reading levels itself at the start of every ride. It is an estimate, not a measuring instrument — and never a challenge.

Is an account needed?

No. Serpavo has no account and no cloud. Rides, routes and settings are stored on your iPhone.

Can rides be exported?

Yes, as GPX with time, elevation, speed and lean angle. GPX files from other apps can be imported and ridden again.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone with iOS 17 or later. The app is available in German and English and shows kilometres or miles.

Ready for the next pass?

Serpavo is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone.
