# Serpavo

> Serpavo is a motorcycle navigation app for iPhone by Dennis Donner: curvy routes, offline maps and on-device routing, turn-by-turn voice guidance and local ride recording with lean angle.

## Verified capabilities

- Route planning to a destination with three route profiles (relaxed, curvy, very curvy); the route preview explains why a route was chosen.
- Round trips from the current position.
- Routing (Valhalla), place search and the map (MapLibre Native) run on the iPhone from downloaded offline map packages; no reception needed during the ride.
- Offline map packages per region, built from OpenStreetMap data (ODbL); installed regions are updated automatically, by default only on Wi-Fi.
- Drive mode with turn-by-turn voice prompts from iOS speech synthesis, rerouting after a missed turn, automatic night mode and a screen that stays on.
- Ride recording during navigation, including in the background while the ride runs; lean angle estimated from the iPhone motion sensors after a mount check.
- Ride review with maximum lean angle left and right, curve score, distance, number of curves and elevation gain; GPX export and GPX import.
- No account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party data-collecting SDKs. Location, rides and routes stay on the iPhone.

Serpavo is a riding aid, not a safety system. Traffic rules, road signs and the actual road conditions always take precedence over the app. Screenshots show German pre-release screens; the released app may differ. Check the App Store for availability and device requirements (iOS 17 or later).
